Vibrant Latin America, with its rich history and imposing landscapes, is not immune to the relentless force of nature. "Richter in Blue" unfolds as a series that captures the duality of this region: its unparalleled beauty and its constant flirtation with devastating natural phenomena.

Each meticulous charcoal landscape, juxtaposed against blue hues, is a window into a world of fragments. Though they may appear as simple shards, these drawings allude to grand structures that once dominated the horizon. The choice of blue, in its infinite shades, evokes contemplation of variability and constant adaptation, akin to a territory that has earned the nickname "Valley of Hammocks" since ancient times due to its incessant seismic activity.

As we immerse ourselves in these landscapes, we witness the transience of existence and the inherent resilience of lands that have endured and rebuilt after countless shakes. It is an exploration of how, despite chaos and destruction, new beginnings and visions emerge, where each fracture and every shade of blue becomes a world in itself, full of possibilities and poetry.
